We call the monkey by her nickname so much more often than we anticipated when she was first born. And everyone spells it differently. Even we are inconsistent. Sooooo... definitively, from now on, TILLY it is. With a Y. Why? Y.
We've been talking about adopting a puppy for YEARS and finally took the plunge. Our GINORMOUS "puppy" is about 2 y.o. He was rescued about 100 miles from here last year and made his way to a shelter and the German Shepherd Rescue Association of Northern California. He rocks. The shelter called him Bancroft, or Banc. He responds to it so we don't want to change it. Lee calls him Banksy after the (superduperfamous) British street artist. Which is pretty appropriate because they are both extremely shy but unignorable personalities.

Keep up 'If we had a keen vision and feeling of all ordinary human life, it would be like hearing the grass grow and the squirrel's heart beat, and we should die of that roar which lies on the other side of silence.'
